Newly formed Airline flies high
Red Wings Airlines is a New Generation company, based in Moscow, provides scheduled and charter passenger flights.Red Wings Airlines was founded in 1999 under the name Airlines 400 (on the base of Vnukovo Avia Repair Factory) and was renamed in 2007.
The Airline now is owned by Alexander Lebedev, who created a discounter using modern type of Russian aircraft (Tupolev) Tu-204-100. This airline is intended to become a primary operator of these aircrafts by both ordering new ones and buying a few used ones. He also owns 49% of German discounter airline Blue Wings that will become a sister company to the Red Wings. Partnership of Red Wings and Blue Wings is widening operational capabilities of both companies.
At the present moment Red Wings aircraft fleet consists of 5 aircraft Tu-204-100. Until the end of 2010 Red Wings Airline is planning to increase the number of its aircrafts up to 20.
The main routes of Red Wings Airlines flights are: Europe, North Africa, and Middle East.

Ultitek Ltd, which provides computerized airline reservation system software (CRS) through its wholly-owned subsidiary TAIS, has signed a new agreement with Russia's Red Wings Airlines.
Red Wings will use Ultitek's Sirena-2.3 CRS to process ticket sales for its scheduled flights. The contract also allows the airline to use TAIS' Regina DCS (Departure Control System) to check-in passengers on multiple airlines, and Red Wings will also implement Ultitek's E-Ticketing capability in time for the summer tourist season.
